Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with unruptured intracranial aneurysms (UIAs) were recruited, with the inclusion criteria as follows: aged 18 to 80 years, of either sex, no contraindications to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and no planned surgical treatment for intracranial aneurysms (IAs) in the short term.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included contraindications to MRI, a history of previous aneurysmal rupture, concomitant arteriovenous malformation, fusiform or traumatic aneurysms, and intention to undergo endovascular or craniotomy treatment for intracranial aneurysms in the near term.
