Trial Group:Personalized brainwave music therapy (10 minutes daily, 8-week course, including music type preference screening and personalized creation) + conventional SSRIs antidepressant medication
Control Group:Conventional SSRIs antidepressant medication

18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age range: 18 - 60 years old; Education level: Junior high school or above; 2. Voluntary to sign the informed consent form; 3. HAMD-17 score between 17 and 24, diagnosed as the first episode or recurrence of depressive disorder according to ICD-10; 4. Currently not receiving any other drug treatment except for SSRIs-based antidepressants.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe physical or brain organic diseases, pregnant and lactating women, those with mental retardation, and substance abusers; 2. Those who have received MECT, rTMS or other non-pharmacological treatments during the current depressive episode.
