Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged >= 65 years; 2.Clinically diagnosed with herpes zoster (typical clustered vesicles with pain, disease duration <= 7 days); 3.Conscious and able to cooperate with pain assessment and blood sample collection; 4.Signed informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Severe liver or kidney dysfunction, autoimmune diseases (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus), or malignant tumors; 2.Severe cognitive impairment or mental illness that prevents follow-up or pain assessment; 3.History of neuropathic pain (e.g., diabetic peripheral neuropathy, trigeminal neuralgia); 4.Contraindications to blood sample collection (e.g., coagulation disorders).
