18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18–65 years, no gender restriction; 2. ASA classification I–II; 3. Disease characteristics: previously diagnosed with chronic atrophic gastritis, gastrointestinal polyps, intestinal metaplasia, or inflammatory bowel disease, requiring regular painless gastrointestinal endoscopy follow-up; 4. Preoperative visit VAS anxiety score >= 4 points, to ensure inclusion of patients with anxiety; 5. Voluntarily sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Body Mass Index (BMI) > 30 kg/m^2 or < 18 kg/m^2; 2. Suffering from nasal diseases (such as severe rhinitis, nasal septum deviation, recent nasal surgery history) that may affect nasal mucosa absorption; 3. Severe bradycardia (HR < 50 bpm) or hypotension (SBP < 90 mmHg); 4. Long-term use of psychiatric medications (discontinued < 1 week); 5. Known or suspected severe obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS); 6. Known allergy to dexmedetomidine or any of its components; 7. Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
