Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with end-stage knee osteoarthritis (Kellgren-Lawrence grade IV) who underwent unilateral total knee arthroplasty at Putian University Affiliated Hospital; 2. Age range: 18-80 years old; 3. No use of immunosuppressants or intra-articular injections for 6 months before the surgery; 4. Signed the informed consent form..

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Include rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis, traumatic arthritis or infectious arthritis; 2. Severe liver and kidney dysfunction (Child-Pugh C grade / eGFR < 30); 3. History of malignant tumor; 4. Confirmed intraoperative cartilage calcification or extensive bone necrosis; 5. Refusal to provide tissue samples.
