18 Years to 80 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged >=18 years and <= 80 years, regardless of gender. 2.Meet the above diagnostic criteria for internal carotid artery stenosis, and have a clear plan to undergo Carotid Endarterectomy (CEA) after evaluation by a vascular surgeon. 3.Voluntarily sign the informed consent form, agree to participate in this study, and authorize the researchers to use the atherosclerotic plaque tissue resected during the operation and clinical data for research purposes. 4.No severe dysfunction of vital organs such as heart, lung, liver or kidney, and be able to tolerate CEA surgery. 5.Liver function: alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) <= 3 times the upper limit of normal reference range; Renal function: serum creatinine (Scr) <= 1.5 times the upper limit of normal reference range; Coagulation function: international normalized ratio (INR) <=1.5, prothrombin time (PT) and activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) within the normal reference range. 6. No severe dysfunction of vital organs such as the heart, lungs, liver, or kidneys, and able to tolerate CEA surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with malignant tumors (regardless of treatment status, with an expected survival time of 2 points) within the recent 3 months.
