Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged 18 years or older; 2. Patients undergoing cardiac or major vascular surgery (e.g., coronary artery bypass grafting, valve surgery, aortic surgery); 3. Availability of continuous intraoperative hemodynamic monitoring (including MAP, heart rate, stroke volume, etc.); 4. For prospective cohorts, provision of written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or requiring long-term dialysis before surgery; 2. Patients who already have irreversible brain injury, stroke, or cerebral hypoperfusion before surgery; 3. Irreversible brain injury or severe hemodynamic instability during surgery that prevents adequate hemodynamic monitoring; 4. Refusal to provide informed consent or inability to complete follow-up in a prospective study.
