Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosed with major depressive disorder according to DSM-5 criteria;18 to 60 years of age; 2.Fully comprehend the questionnaire's items and task requirements; 3.Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the relevant informed consent form; 4.No psychiatric medication taken in the 14 days prior to enrolment;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Other mental disorders were identified via the SCID-5-CV interview. 2.History of neurological disorders, head trauma; cases with markedly elevated intracranial pressure; 3.Contraindications for MST: Individuals with ferromagnetic metallic foreign bodies or electronic devices implanted within the cranium; those with cardiac pacemakers or cardiac stents; and those with cochlear implants. 4.Individuals with unstable or severe medical conditions who cannot tolerate this therapy, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. 5.Individuals with anaesthetic allergies; smokers consuming =20 cigarettes per day;
