Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. One eye has typical glaucomatous optic disc damage and vision loss, while the other eye has vision loss or typical glaucomatous optic disc damage, or both. 2. Intraocular pressure <22mmHg (with or without local treatment). 3. Age 18-80 years. 4. Signed informed consent and willingness to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Any type of glaucoma other than POAG. 2. Severe media opacity that would interfere with the detection of study effects (e.g., cataract or corneal scar). 3. Vision impairment caused by other ophthalmic reasons (such as age-related macular degeneration). 4. Underwent any type of surgery or laser treatment in the past 3 months. 5. Any change in glaucoma medication within the past 3 months, and/or using more than two topical IOP-lowering medications (or any oral medications) at baseline visit. 6. Patients with overall visual impairment due to ptosis or skin cracking of the eyelids. 7. History of brain surgery or neurological disease (stroke, seizure, or epilepsy). 8. Uncontrolled hypertension (>160 mmHg).
