Experimental group:The experimental group received eight weekly 40-minute sessions of structured mandala-drawing group intervention
Control group:The control group received no intervention and continued with their regular curriculum.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 12–16 years and currently enrolled as a student; 2. Voluntary participation with signed informed consent from both the participant and their legal guardian; 3. Screening score Ruminative Responses Scale (RRS) >= 36 or UCLA Loneliness Scale (UCLA-LS) >= 45.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe visual or motor impairments, autism spectrum disorder, schizophrenia; 2. Received other psychological interventions within the past 3 months.
