18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with gastrointestinal tumours via pathological examination, meeting physical criteria for surgical indication, and scheduled for gastrointestinal surgery under general anaesthesia; 2. 80 years old >= age >= 18 years old; 3. Alert and oriented, with no communication impairment; 4. Patients or their relatives have signed an informed consent form and are capable of completing the survey.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with Sjögren's syndrome or those on long-term medication suppressing salivary gland secretion; 2. Patients at stage VI disease progression or undergoing palliative surgery; 3. Patients with concomitant conditions such as heart, brain, kidney disease, or diabetes significantly impairing quality of life; 4. Patients in a comatose state, exhibiting psychiatric abnormalities, or otherwise unable to participate in the study.
