Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18 years or above, gender not restricted; 2. Severe patients with acute respiratory failure and suspected/confirmed pulmonary embolism (PE); 3. During hospitalization, agree to undergo EIT monitoring, cardiac ultrasound, serological testing and genetic testing; when the condition permits, undergo CT pulmonary angiography; for patients with pulmonary embolism, complete genomic testing; 4. Capable of signing the informed consent form or having a legal representative sign on their behalf; 5. Within 3 months after abdominal surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant or lactating women; 2. Patients who have received implantation of cardiac assist devices or electrical implants (such as pacemakers) and thus cannot safely undergo EIT examination; 3. Patients who cannot tolerate blood collection, EIT or ultrasound examination; 4. Patients with advanced diseases or with an expected lifespan of less than 48 hours; 5. Patients who are unable to complete the necessary examinations and follow-ups for various reasons.
