18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged 18 to 80 years old (inclusive), with endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation treatment. 2.Receiving routine basic sedation and analgesia treatment. 3.Written informed consent signed by the subject or their legal representative.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Unstable hemodynamics: Catecholamine Index (CAI) >= 20 µg/kg/min. 2.Pregnancy or lactation period. 3.Neurological/psychiatric abnormalities: (1) A history of severe mental illness or neurological dysfunction; (2) Presence of delirium upon ICU admission; (3) Complicated with cerebral diseases (e.g., stroke, brain tumor) or brain injury. 4.Severe hepatorenal impairment: Stage 4 chronic kidney disease (CKD) (glomerular filtration rate < 30 mL/min/1.73m^2), or liver function of Child-Pugh Class C or higher. 5.Patients with pressure injuries on the back and buttocks; patients requiring intensive airway management.
