Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 65 years or older; 2. ASA classification I-III; 3. Patients undergoing surgery under general anesthesia; 4. Voluntarily signing the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with ASA > III; 2. BMI 35 kg/m^2; 3. Stroke, malignant tumors, or unstable cardiovascular diseases; 4.Severe auditory and visual impairments, language disorders, and/or communication difficulties preventing effective communication; 5.Epilepsy or a history of stroke or seizures within the past three months;moderate to severe cognitive impairment or severe mental illness; 6.Comorbid neuropsychiatric diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, psychiatric disorders, alcohol dependence, and drug addiction; 7. Use of sedative medications within the past week or long-term use (>= 3 months) of sedatives in the past; 8.Patients with mental illness; 9.Preoperative cognitive impairment, with MMSE scores lower than the threshold for the corresponding educational level: illiterate 6 years of education) <= 23; 10. Surgery duration less than 30 minutes, unable to identify the stable anesthetic phase; 11. Unexpected discharge or refusal to participate in the study.
