School-based HIIT:The HIIT exercise protocol involves students engaging in 12-20 minutes of teacher
led HIIT at 85% of the maximum HR three times per week.
Continued-based exercise:Perform conventional, continuous-based activities (e.g., jogging, running or cycling) over the 4-month period to serve as comparison

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adolescents aged 12-17 (i.e., Secondary 1-6) with a mild level of ID (i.e., IQ 50-70 as defined by the World Health Organization)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Adolescents with IQ below 50 and/or more than 70.
