Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. ICU patients; 2. Age range: 18 - 80 years old; 3. All patients (or their legal guardians) have signed the informed consent form before participating in the study; 4. A comprehensive skin assessment was conducted within 24 hours after admission to the ICU, and it was confirmed that there was no pressure injury upon admission to the ICU according to the international pressure injury staging criteria; 5. During the hospitalization in the ICU, continuous skin assessment was carried out to clearly determine whether new pressure injuries occurred during the ICU stay.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who did not undergo the standardized assessment for pressure injuries after being admitted to the ICU, resulting in an inability to determine the outcome; 2. Patients who already had pressure injuries upon admission to the ICU; 3. Patients who were hospitalized in the ICU for less than 24 hours.
