Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects in the BCAMS cohort with complete baseline and follow-up information were divided into four groups based on BMI, blood glucose, blood pressure and lipids: (1) Metabolically Unusual Obesity (MUO): BMI >=28 kg/m^2 with hyperglycaemia/hypertension/dyslipidaemia. (2) Metabolically Healthy Obesity (MHO): BMI >=28 kg/m^2 without metabolic abnormalities. (3) Normal weight metabolic obesity (NWMO): BMI < 24 kg/m^2 with metabolic abnormalities. (4) Normal weight metabolic health (NWMH): BMI < 24 kg/m^2 without metabolic abnormalities.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with other severe diseases, including coronary heart disease (angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, history of coronary revascularization, or presence of abnormal Q waves on electrocardiogram [ECG]), stroke (ischemic or hemorrhagic, including transient ischemic attack), severe hepatic or renal dysfunction; 2.Patients with nutritional disorders or severe gastrointestinal diseases that may affect the outcomes of nutritional interventions; 3.Patients with any other medical condition deemed to have a life expectancy of less than 5 years; 4.Patients with addictive tendencies such as drug abuse, chronic alcoholism, or alcohol dependence; 5.Exclusion of patients with previously diagnosed cardiovascular diseases (coronary heart disease, stroke), previously diagnosed endocrine diseases other than type 2 diabetes, or those with major disease episodes/hospitalizations in the recent past (within the last 6 months); 6.Patients who face significant practical difficulties in changing dietary habits or complying with medical advice to improve lifestyle habits, or those unable to adhere to follow-up visits;
