Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria for stroke (referencing the stroke diagnostic criteria in the 'Clinical Management Guidelines for Cerebrovascular Diseases' by the Chinese Stroke Association); 2. Meets the diagnostic criteria for pDOC as outlined in the 'Chinese Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Disorders of Consciousness'; 3. The patient's BMI is between 18 kg/m² and 24 kg/m²; 4. The patient can tolerate maintaining a fixed position for one hour after meals; 5. The patient can sit up passively to 90°; 6. Aged 18 to 80 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Has other gastrointestinal disorders and has undergone stomach surgery; 2. Used medications that affect gastrointestinal motility, such as digoxin, aminophylline, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, within 3 days before the test; 3. Pregnant women and patients after cesarean section; 4. Individuals with severe organ dysfunction; 5. Those combined with severe abdominal distension, obesity, or abdominal wall deformities who cannot undergo abdominal ultrasound examination; 6. Patients with diabetes whose blood sugar is poorly controlled; 7. Patients with severe neurological disorders, such as epilepsy and Parkinson's disease.
