Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Schizophrenia Group (1) Age 18-65 years; (2) Meeting the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition, Text Revision (DSM-IV-TR); (3) Education level above primary school. 2. Healthy Control Group (1) Age 18-65 years; (2) Self-reported no past or current mental disorders, and screened with SCID-Mini to rule out Axis I disorders; (3) No family history of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or depression among first-degree relatives; (4) Education level above primary school.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Schizophrenia Group (1) Individuals with a history of brain injury (loss of consciousness due to trauma exceeding 5 minutes), epilepsy, or other known organic central nervous system diseases; (2) Individuals with uncorrected or corrected eyesight less than 1.0, or those with color blindness, eye movement disorders, or any other eye or physical conditions that may affect testing; (3) Individuals with a history of alcohol or psychoactive substance abuse/dependence within the past 6 months before testing; (4) Individuals deemed unsuitable for inclusion by the researcher. 2. Healthy Control Group (1) Individuals with a history of brain injury (loss of consciousness due to trauma exceeding 5 minutes), epilepsy, or other known organic central nervous system diseases; (2) Individuals with uncorrected or corrected eyesight less than 1.0, or those with color blindness, eye movement disorders, or any other eye or physical conditions that may affect testing; (3) Individuals with a history of alcohol or psychoactive substance abuse/dependence within the past 6 months before testing; (4) Individuals who feel unable to cooperate to complete MRI data acquisition.
