Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.With reference to the (meeting the diagnostic criteria for pre-capillary pulmonary hypertension: at sea level and in a resting state, the mean pulmonary arterial pressure (mPAP) measured by right heart catheterization is >20 mmHg, while the pulmonary capillary wedge pressure is 3 Wood Units); 2.Meeting the diagnostic criteria for COPD specified in the 2025 COLD Guidelines; 3.Aged >=18 years old; 4. Healthy controls include healthy individuals with similar living habits (in this study, healthy controls are preferred to be family members of COPD-PH patients with highly consistent living habits). Meanwhile, internal medicine physicians exclude pulmonary hypertension and organic diseases based on clinical manifestations, signs, or recent examinations.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Medication use: Use of anti-infective drugs (including antifungal, antibiotic, antiviral, and antiparasitic drugs) within 4 weeks before enrollment; use of immunosuppressive drugs; use of drugs or health products with probiotics as the main component for therapeutic or health-care purposes (excluding fermented foods); 2. Excessive drinking for more than 1 month (daily alcohol intake exceeding 50g); 3. Other medical histories, including infectious diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, autoimmune diseases, connective tissue diseases, liver and kidney diseases, endocrine system diseases, and hematological system diseases, etc.; 4. Having a surgical history within 2 years; 5.Body Mass Index (BMI) >=32 or <=18.5; 6.Being in a moderate or severe acute disease state during the sampling period.
