Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=18 years, male or female; 2. attended the Department of Gastroenterology, Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University between 2018-01 and 2025-06 and were diagnosed with large (>=3cm) upper gastrointestinal submucosal lesions (SELs) as confirmed by endoscopic and ultrasonographic findings; 3. No lymph node or distant metastasis confirmed by ultrasonographic endoscopy and abdominal CT or MRI before surgery; 4. have undergone endoscopic submucosal tunnel tumour resection (STER); 5. Voluntarily sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. those who are unable to tolerate the surgery due to severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and other complications; 2. those who have had an acute coronary syndrome within the past 6 months 3. those with oesophageal stenosis or pyloric obstruction; 4. those with a history of malignant tumour of the upper gastrointestinal tract; 5. those with significant abnormalities in coagulation function; 6. Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding; 7. multiple submucosal tumours of the upper gastrointestinal tract.
