Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients: 1. Pathologically confirmed Stage III-IV malignant tumors; 2.Aged>= 18 years; 3.Aware of the diagnosis and current treatment plan, and involved in decision-making regarding their medical care and palliative/hospice care; 4.Patients who may consider or are already receiving palliative care during the course of disease progression; 5.No mental or cognitive impairment, with the ability to engage in normal verbal and written communication; 6.Provided informed consent and voluntarily agreed to participate in the study. Family Members: 1.Aged >=18 years; 2.Identified as the primary family surrogate decision-maker for the patient’s medical and palliative care; 3.Family relations including the patient's spouse, children, or other relatives; 4.No cognitive or mental impairment, with the ability to engage in normal verbal and written communication; 5.Provided informed consent and voluntarily agreed to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients: 1.Physically intolerant of the study or in poor general condition; 2.Severe organ failure (cardiac, pulmonary, or cerebral). Family Members: 1.Experienced major negative life events or stressors (e.g., bereavement, divorce, or critical illness) within the past six months; 2.Healthcare professionals or practitioners in palliative/hospice care.
