Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria for the epidemiological study: (1) Diagnosed with end-stage renal disease and undergoing peritoneal dialysis treatment for a duration of >=3 months; (2) Age: 18~75 years old; (3) Educational level of junior high school or above; (4) Normal vision and hearing, without color deficiency or color blindness; (5) Patient informed consent. 2. Inclusion criteria for the intervention study: (1) Diagnosed with end-stage renal disease and undergoing peritoneal dialysis treatment for a duration of >=3 months; (2) Age: 18~75 years old; (3) Education level of junior high school or above; (4) Normal vision and hearing, without color deficiency or color blindness; (5) Individuals with mild to moderate depressive symptoms (14=26); (6) Conscious, and able to express one's own wishes; (7) No use of psychotropic drugs in the past three months, and no acceptance of any form of psychological treatment; (8) No significant cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (such as coronary heart disease, heart failure, etc.); (9) Patient informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion criteria for the epidemiological study: (1) Individuals with severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases; (2) Individuals with a history of severe mental disorders (such as unconsciousness, schizophrenia, etc.) or other neurological diseases (such as Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, etc.); (3) History of alcohol and drug dependence. 2. Exclusion criteria for the intervention study: (1) Patients with hearing and writing impairments, as well as those with severe cardiovascular diseases; (2) Individuals with a history of severe mental disorders (such as unconsciousness, schizophrenia, etc.) or other neurological diseases (such as Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, etc.); (3) Patients who have received antidepressant treatment in the past three months; (4) Patients who have a kidney transplantation plan in the past three months; (5) History of alcohol and drug dependence; (6) Suicidal tendencies.
