Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria for septic shock (Sepsis-3); 2. Age >= 18 years old; 3. Entered the hospital in the early stage of the disease, without obvious organ failure; 4. Used beta-blockers.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age < 18 years old; 2. Has previously used beta-blockers; 3. Has organic heart diseases such as acute coronary syndrome and cardiac insufficiency; 4. Has undergone cardiopulmonary resuscitation; 5. Insufficient data.
