Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients with essential hypertension hospitalized in Ward 2 of the Hypertension Department at Ruijin Hospital between January 1, 2021 and April 30, 2025.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with a history of transient ischemic attack (TIA) or stroke; 2.Patients with prior cardiovascular events, including myocardial infarction, stroke, history of coronary PCI, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), or hospitalization for heart failure. 3.Patients who did not undergo cranial MRA during hospitalization.
