Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient 1. Age >=18 years; 2. First ICU admission. Proxy Decision-Maker 1. Age >=18 years; 2. First-time legal medical proxy participating in medical decision-making for an ICU patient; 3. Has basic reading, writing, and comprehension skills, and can communicate without barriers; 4.Voluntarily participates and is able to complete the survey.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient 1. Patients who die or are discharged voluntarily during the study period. Proxy Decision-Maker 1. Individuals participating in other similar studies; 2. Those who need to change their legally authorized medical proxy midway.
