18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Over 18 years of age 2. Type 2 diabetes mellitus 3. Herpes zoster neuralgia in the thoracic region 4. Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) pain score greater than 5 (on a scale of 0 to 10).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. inability to accurately describe the pain to the investigator (e.g., presence of speech disorders and neuropsychiatric disorders) 2. Presence of other chronic neuropathic pain history 3. presence of contraindications to puncture (e.g., coagulation disorders, puncture site infections or tumours).
