Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.18.5kg/m^2 <= BMI < 28.0kg/m^2; 2. Thyroid Healthy Group (HC): not diagnosed with any thyroid disease, including thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, autoimmune thyroid disease, etc.; Thyroid Benign Nodules Group (TN): ultrasound/pathological diagnosis of thyroid benign nodules (diameter greater than 0.5cm); Thyroid Cancer Group (TC): pathological diagnosis of thyroid cancer, no distant metastatic lesions found, and underwent tumor resection treatment; 3.Periodontal grouping criteria: Periodontal health (P -): Good oral hygiene, no swelling or pus overflow in the gums, pink, tough, thin, periodontal pocket probing depth <= 3mm, no attachment loss or root bifurcation lesions; Periodontal disease (P+): meets the diagnostic criteria for gingivitis and periodontal disease classified in the 2018 classification system jointly established by the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) and the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP); 4. Age 18 or older; 5. Agree to undergo a clinical periodontal examination and sign the informed consent form;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Diseases that may affect the microbial community and periodontal conditions, such as other system cancers, digestive system diseases, hypertension, diabetes, kidney diseases, liver diseases, autoimmune diseases, etc; 2. Have used antibiotics, probiotics, immunosuppressants, hormone drugs, and other drugs that affect microbial communities or received periodontal treatment in the past 3 months; 3.Pregnancy or lactation period; 4.Smoking or alcohol addiction; 5.Unable to continue cooperating with the inspector; 6.Unable to continue the examination due to objective reasons;
