Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=65 years old; 2. ASA health status at levels II-III; 3. Patients undergoing their first orthopedic surgery under general anesthesia with combined intravenous-inhalation technique; 4. Have basic communication skills and can cooperate with postoperative cognitive assessment; 5. Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. For those allergic to ascorbic acid or with abnormal oxalate metabolism (urinary oxalate > 40mg/24h); 2. Patients with renal insufficiency (eGFR 38.5?, abnormal white blood cell count in blood routine); 9. Patients with acute infection before the surgery (such as pulmonary infection, urinary system infection, etc., based on clinical indicators such as body temperature > 38.5?, abnormal white blood cell count in blood routine); 10. Subjects who voluntarily withdraw the informed consent form and do not wish to continue participating in the study; 11. During the study, serious adverse reactions or complications occur, such as ascorbic acid allergic reactions (rash, breathing difficulties, etc.), intraoperative massive bleeding, severe infection, etc., and the investigator assesses that continuing to participate in the study may endanger the safety of the subjects.
