18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Underwent TACE treatment at our hospital between March 2014 and May 2021. 2. Underwent radical hepatectomy for primary liver cancer at our hospital prior to TACE treatment. 3. Aged between 18 and 80 years. 4. Postoperative pathology confirmed hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). 5. Complete clinical and pathological data are available.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Received any neoadjuvant therapy prior to radical hepatectomy. 2. The first post-hepatectomy TACE session confirmed disease recurrence. 3. The interval between liver resection and the first postoperative TACE session exceeded 6 weeks. 4. Presence of concurrent other malignancies. 5. Lost to follow-up or inability to obtain follow-up results for the primary study endpoint (Recurrence-Free Survival). 6. Received combined other adjuvant therapies.
