Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. According to the 2017 classification criteria of epilepsy and epileptic syndromes by the International League Against Epilepsy, the diagnosis was RE, ARE (with a sleep spike-wave index (SWI) >= 85% as the diagnostic criterion), and refractory ARE (with continued clinical seizure activity or SWI >= 85% after one year of drug treatment).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with confirmed space-occupying lesions such as tumors and other neurodegenerative diseases through imaging studies; 2. Those with severe dysfunction of vital organs such as the heart, liver and kidneys; 3. Children with infections as indicated by blood and cerebrospinal fluid tests; 4. Those with systemic immune system diseases; 5. Those with congenital immune deficiencies; 6. Those with contraindications to the use of glucocorticoids.
