Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Single-segment OVCF in middle-aged and elderly patients caused by low-energy trauma (falls, bending over); 2. Significant low back pain or limited mobility; 3. MRI shows clear signs of fracture in the thoracolumbar spine; 4. Patients who have undergone PKP surgery; 5. Within 2-3 years after PKP treatment, patients may have NVCF at levels other than the original fracture vertebrae, with or without symptoms; 6. Follow-up period of 2-3 years or more, with NVCF occurring 3 months or more after PKP surgery; 7. Intact posterior vertebral wall, fracture does not affect the spinal canal; 8. Dual-energy X-ray bone density scan showing lumbar (L1-L4) T-score <= -2.5.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with pathologic fractures, such as those caused by spinal infections or tumors, may be included. 2.Patients who are not OVCF patients include those who have suffered spinal fractures due to falls from heights or other high-force injuries. 3.Multiple segmental fractures of the spine; 4.The patient suffered a secondary fracture in the same vertebral body after the initial fracture. 5.Other reasons led to non-attendance or incomplete preoperative imaging data.
