Eligibility

Age
65 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 65 years and < 90 years, regardless of sex. 2. Scheduled to undergo non-cardiac surgery under neuraxial anesthesia. 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification I~III. 4. Voluntary participation with a signed informed consent form. 5. Complete clinical data and ability to complete follow-up assessments.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Dementia. 2. Inability to communicate preoperatively due to coma, or severe visual/hearing/language impairment. 3. Pre-existing conditions: schizophrenia, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, or myasthenia gravis. 4. Severe dysfunction of the heart, brain, kidney, or liver; or history of severe craniocerebral injury. 5. Patients scheduled for emergency surgery or intracranial surgery.
