Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion criteria for the pancreatic cancer group: patients with a clear pathological diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, aged between 18 and 80 years. 2.Inclusion criteria for the acute pancreatitis group: patients meeting the diagnostic criteria for acute pancreatitis (1. acute, sudden-onset, persistent, and severe upper abdominal pain, which may radiate to the back; 2. serum amylase and/or lipase levels >= 3 times the upper limit of the reference range; 3. typical imaging findings of acute pancreatitis (pancreatic edema or peri-pancreatic exudative fluid collection) on contrast-enhanced CT or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). A diagnosis of acute pancreatitis can be made if two of the above three criteria are met), aged between 18 and 80 years; 3.Diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis based on the 2020 American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) Clinical Guideline; 4. Healthy control group: aged between 18 and 80 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for pancreatic cancer group: 1.Patients with concurrent malignancies or a personal history of malignancy; 2.Patients who have previously received systemic treatments (e.g., surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, etc.); 3.Patients with comorbid severe psychiatric disorders or severe hemorrhagic diseases, and thus unsuitable for blood collection; 4.Pregnant or lactating women, who are ineligible for radiographic imaging; 5.Patients who have not provided signed informed consent. Exclusion criteria for acute pancreatitis: 1.diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis or pancreatic cancer; 2.presence of severe organic diseases (e.g., malignant tumor, acute myocardial infarction, massive cerebral infarction); 3.comorbid severe psychiatric disorders or hemorrhagic diseases that contraindicate blood collection; 4.pregnancy or lactation; 5.failure to provide signed informed consent. Exclusion criteria for chronic pancreatitis: 1.Patients with acute pancreatitis or pancreatic cancer; 2.Patients with severe organic diseases, including but not limited to malignancies, acute myocardial infarction, or massive cerebral infarction; 3.Patients with comorbid severe psychiatric disorders or hemorrhagic diseases that are incompatible with blood collection; 4.Pregnant or lactating women; 5.Patients who fail to provide signed informed consent. Healthy control group: 1. Suffering from pancreatic diseases such as acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, or pancreatic cancer; 2. Suffering from severe organic diseases, such as malignant tumors, acute myocardial infarction, or large-area cerebral infarction; 3. Having severe mental disorders or serious bleeding disorders, unable to tolerate blood collection; 4. Having previously received systemic treatments (such as surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, etc.); 5. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 6. Those who have not signed the informed consent form.
