Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants should be children with a psychiatrist diagnosis of ADHD and their parents; 2.Their children should age from 6 to 12 years old with the ability to speak and understand Mandarin; 3. The parents should be the primary caregivers of their children with ADHD in the last year; 4.Children either not taking any medication or maintaining a stable dosage of the same ADHD medication for at least 3 months prior to study enrollment and having no plans to change medication and dosage during the study period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Parents who have been diagnosed with developmental disabilities, psychosis, or other cognitive impairments, who may thus have difficulties in reading and comprehending the contents of the research; 2.Children with another developmental disability such as autistic spectrum disorder or intellectual disability; 3. Parents who completed an eight-week MBI or equivalent program.
