Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Body mass index (BMI) between 16 and 28 kg/m^2; (2) Age between 16 and 30 years; (3) No metabolic diseases (e.g., diabetes mellitus, hypertension, etc.); (4) No recent history of surgery, trauma, or major illness; (5) No long-term use of medications affecting energy metabolism, such as hormonal agents, weight-loss drugs, or antidiabetic medications.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Physical limitations (e.g., musculoskeletal injury, osteoarticular disease, or pain); (2) Known serious diseases, including cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hepatic, or renal disorders; (3) Exercise-related dyspnea; (4) Known family history of sudden death; (5) Known coronary artery disease; (6) Untreated endocrine disorders; (7) Blood pressure >=160/100 mmHg; (8) Use of medications affecting metabolism or cardiovascular function within the past year; (9) Smoking or alcohol consumption exceeding 140 g/week (men) or 70 g/week (women); (10) Inability to adhere to the training protocol during the study period.
