Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Intervention group (precision positioning and classic coordinate positioning rTMS treatment group): 1) Age 8 to 16 years old, male; 2) Meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD as stipulated in the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) of the American Psychiatric Association; 3) No history of other neurodevelopmental disorders or organic brain diseases as assessed by K-SADS; 4) Total IQ >= 80 as measured by the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children - Fourth Edition (WISC-IV); 5) Obtained written informed consent from the patients and their guardians. Healthy control group: 1) Age 8 to 16 years old, male; 2) Do not meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD or other neurodevelopmental disorders as stipulated in DSM-5 of the United States; 3) Total IQ >= 80 as measured by WISC-IV, able to cooperate with the researchers to complete tasks; 4) No other neurodevelopmental disorders as assessed by K-SADS; 5) The children and their families voluntarily participated and were able to actively cooperate and complete all test contents.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Intervention group (precision positioning and classic coordinate positioning rTMS treatment group): 1) The total IQ measured by the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children - Fourth Edition (WISC-IV) is less than 80; 2) Metal implants in the skull (such as cochlear implants, deep brain electrodes, etc.), cardiac pacemakers, intracardiac wires, etc. have been implanted; 3) Previous history of epilepsy-related diseases: history of epileptic seizures, history of febrile convulsions in childhood; and those with epileptiform discharges shown by electroencephalogram; 4) Known brain damage (such as tumors, etc.), or severe head trauma; 5) Within the past 6 months, history of alcohol, drug or psychotropic substance abuse; 6) Undergoing electroconvulsive therapy or other neurostimulation therapies (such as transcranial direct current stimulation) or taking psychotropic drugs within the past 4 weeks. Healthy control group: 1) The total IQ measured by the WISC-IV is less than 80 and unable to complete the test; 2) Suffering from brain organic diseases, severe physical diseases and genetic metabolic diseases, such as epilepsy, congenital malformations, Down syndrome, etc.; 3) Family history of ADHD and other mental disorders within the direct line of three generations.
