Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with extra-articular deformity on the femoral side, defined by a mechanical lateral distal femoral angle (mLDFA) > 90° or a hip-knee-shaft (HKS) angle > 8°. 2. Kellgren-Lawrence (KL) grade IV osteoarthritis of the knee. 3. Severe varus knee osteoarthritis with a hip-knee-ankle (HKA) angle deformity exceeding 15 degrees.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Insufficiency of the medial or lateral collateral ligaments; 2. Concurrent systemic immune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, or psoriatic arthritis. 3. Concurrent infectious arthritis (e.g., septic arthritis, tuberculous arthritis). 4. Patients with major medical comorbidities (e.g., cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases). 5. Patients unwilling to participate in this study.
