Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged >=40 years; 2.Provided written informed consent for the study protocol; 3.Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) according to the WHO 1999 criteria; 4.Possessed complete and detailed clinical information;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Inability to cooperate with or complete the MoCA cognitive assessment or 3.0T cranial MRI scanning; 2.Presence of endocrine diseases other than T2DM that could significantly affect blood glucose levels; 3.Severe cerebrovascular or intracranial conditions that could affect neuroimaging structural analyses, including cerebral infarction, hemorrhage, trauma, or tumors; 4.History of any condition potentially impacting cognitive function, such as thyroid disorders, malignant tumors, severe alcoholism, psychiatric disorders, major infections, acute diabetic complications, severe hepatic, cardiac, or renal diseases, major trauma, or pregnancy; 5.Left-handedness; 6.Any contraindications to MRI scanning;
