Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients scheduled for elective general anesthesia laparoscopic surgery in our hospital, with no restrictions on age or gender, and classified as American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with significant preoperative respiratory or circulatory dysfunction; those with abnormal liver or kidney function; individuals who failed to complete the surgery successfully; and cases with missing postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) data (e.g., due to postoperative death or continuous sedation in the ICU preventing PONV assessment).
