Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 60 years; 2.Underwent elective non-cardiac surgery at The First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University between January 2019 and December 2023.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing outpatient surgery, hysteroscopic surgery, or superficial surgery; 2.Patients with severe trauma or craniocerebral injury; 3. Patients with an ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) physical status classification of V or higher; 4. Patients who experienced new-onset cardiovascular or cerebrovascular adverse events within 30 days prior to surgery; 5.Patients with a perioperative data missing rate exceeding 20%; 6. Patients with missing MACE outcome data.
