Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Multimodal neuroimaging, including diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) sequences, will be performed within 2 weeks after stroke onset and again at 6 months post-onset. 2. Able to cooperate with and complete a comprehensive cognitive function assessment battery. 3. Able to comply with long-term clinical and neuroimaging follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with pre-existing cognitive impairment prior to stroke. 2. Individuals who are unable to tolerate or complete brain MRI examinations, including DTI sequences. 3. Individuals whose imaging data are compromised by severe head motion–related artifacts, precluding subsequent image post-processing and analysis.
