Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Full-time college students aged 18–24 years; scoring >=31 points on the Smartphone Addiction Scale-Short Version (SAS-SV) (indicating a tendency toward smartphone addiction); no regular physical exercise habits in the past 3 months (exercising <=1 time per week, with each session <=30 minutes); voluntarily participating in this study and signing the informed consent form; and being able to ensure full participation in the intervention and assessments at all time points.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Having severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, musculoskeletal diseases, or other physical illnesses that are incompatible with exercise; having a history of mental illness or receiving psychological/medication treatment; having participated in similar psychological or exercise intervention programs in the past 3 months; having contraindications to Tai Chi or tennis, or being unable to cooperate with and complete the intervention.
