Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.The age of the pediatric patients ranges from 1 month to 18 years old. 2.At least one of the following criteria is met: a. Admission to the PICU is in line with the diagnosis of severe pneumonia in the ; b. The diagnosis of sepsis/septic shock meets the ; 3.The legal guardian signs the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Exclude children with chronic diseases affecting nutritional metabolism, such as obesity, malnutrition, congenital heart disease, immune deficiency, chronic diarrhea, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, congenital pulmonary malformations, congenital metabolic diseases, neuromuscular diseases, leukemia, and lymphoma. 2.Patients who do not agree to participate in this clinical study; 3.The remaining blood and sputum samples from routine tests are insufficient for submission for further testing.
