Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Self-injury group (NSSI group) Inclusion criteria: Based on the diagnosis of depressive disorder in ICD-10 in our hospital, this study defined the target population with reference to the behavioral criteria for NSSI in DSM-5, aged between 10 and 18 years old (Denton EG, 2024), with normal intelligence, good understanding, and informed consent of patients and their families to participate in the study. Clearly diagnosed by the deputy chief physician of the Department of Psychiatry and above, and meets the DSM-5 behavioral criteria for NSSI, including the following 6 points: (1) Repeatedly committing intentional self-harm in the past 5 days in >=the past year, causing damage to body surfaces (such as cutting, burning, stabbing, blowing, excessive rubbing), which may cause bleeding, bruising, or pain; (2) the behavior is expected to result in only mild or moderate physical impairment (no intent to kill); (3) The purpose of self-harm behavior is: to relieve negative feelings or cognitive states; solving interpersonal difficulties; Causes positive feelings; (4) Self-harm behavior is associated with at least one of the following: negative thoughts or feelings, or interpersonal problems that occurred before engaging in self-harm; irresistible tendency to self-harm; often have the urge to hurt themselves; (5) This behavior is not socially recognized, such as biting nails or scratching scabs; (6) The act does not completely occur in the case of another disease and cannot be explained by another mental or medical disease. 2. Control group (no NSSI group) Inclusion criteria: Meet DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, age between 10-18 (Denton EG, 2024), normal intelligence, good understanding, and informed consent of patients and their families to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion criteria for the self-injury group (NSSI group): individuals with other mental disorders, those with other severe physical illnesses or organic brain diseases, those with severe self-injurious behaviors, and those with a history of severe alcoholism, drug abuse, or addiction. 2. Exclusion criteria for the control group (non-NSSI group): individuals with other mental disorders, those with other severe physical illnesses or organic brain diseases, those with severe self-injurious behaviors, and those with a history of severe alcoholism, drug abuse, or addiction.
