Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-65 years old, 2. Elective thyroidectomy, 3. Patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I-III
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. There was previously a sore throat and hoarseness of voice; 2. Patients who had taken NSAIDs or steroid drugs or calcium channel blockers before the surgery; 3. Those with recent or recurrent respiratory infections; 4. Patients with contraindications to esketamine; 5. Those with a history of intubation difficulties or a predicted difficult airway and postoperative aspiration; 6. Patients with reflux esophagitis; 7. Pregnant and lactating women; 8. Patients with morbid obesity [Body Mass Index (BMI) > 35 kg/m^2) ] and those with mental disorders who cannot cooperate will also be excluded.
