Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: For neoplastic diseases of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, the inclusion criteria are: 1. Patients who were initially diagnosed with nasal cavity and paranasal sinus tumors or recurrent nasal cavity and paranasal sinus tumors at Beijing Tongren Hospital from September 2015 to September 2025, and had a follow-up period of no less than 1 year; 2. Both the initial diagnosis and recurrence were confirmed by pathological results in our hospital, and preoperative examinations and surgical treatments were all performed in our hospital; 3. Patients with complete data, including: basic information, clinical data (including personal history, past medical history, family history; present medical history at the time of disease detection; findings of nasal endoscopy; surgery-related materials; disease staging; laboratory indicators), imaging materials, pathological materials, and follow-up data; 4. No immune-related diseases affecting postoperative recovery; For chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, the inclusion criteria are: 1. Patients who were diagnosed with CRSwNP and underwent bilateral total sphenoethmoidectomy at Beijing Tongren Hospital from May 2021 to May 2026, and had a postoperative follow-up period of no less than 1 year; 2.Preoperative examinations and surgical treatments were all performed in our hospital, and all patients were operated by the same physician; 3.Patients with complete clinical data, including: outpatient medical records and nasal endoscopy imaging records of regular follow-ups before and after surgery; 4.No chronic systemic diseases or immune-related diseases affecting postoperative recovery;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: For neoplastic diseases of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, the exclusion criteria are: 1. Patients with incomplete clinical data; 2. Patients with a follow-up period of less than 1 year; 3. Patients who had previously received anti-tumor treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy; 4. Patients complicated with acute inflammatory diseases, infections, or severe underlying diseases; 5. Patients who have recently used glucocorticoids or immunosuppressants. For chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, the exclusion criteria are: 1. Patients with incomplete clinical data; 2. Patients with a follow-up period of less than 1 year; 3. Patients with acute inflammatory diseases or infectious symptoms during follow-up visits; 4. Patients complicated with severe underlying diseases; 5. Patients who have recently used glucocorticoids or immunosuppressants.
