Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with cholecystolithiasis and choledocholithiasis confirmed by MRCP. 2. Stone diameter less than 12 mm. 3. Fewer than 5 stones in the common bile duct. 4. Patent distal bile duct with normal opening and closing of the duodenal papilla confirmed intraoperatively.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Common bile duct diameter less than 6 mm. 2. Presence of intrahepatic bile duct stones. 3. Low insertion of the cystic duct into the common bile duct or other relevant anatomical variations. 4. Concomitant severe acute biliary infection.
