Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Diabetic patients diagnosed by the endocrinology department; 2.After undergoing indirect ophthalmoscopy, B-mode ultrasound, fundus photography, OCT, etc., the diagnosis criteria for diabetic retinopathy were met, and the indications for PPV surgery were also satisfied (including non-absorbed vitreous hemorrhage, fibroplastic membranes of PDR, retinal anterior hemorrhage, retinal traction, tractional retinal detachment, tractional rhegmatogenous retinal detachment, vitreous hemorrhage combined with cataract, vitreous hemorrhage combined with iris neovascularization, etc.); 3.For patients who underwent the last surgery and had a follow-up period of = 6 months, those with silicone oil filling should have a follow-up of = 6 months after the removal of the oil.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients were excluded if they had a history of internal eye surgery and ocular trauma, with the exception of cataract surgery, laser photocoagulation for the treatment of PDR, and intravitreal injection of anti - VEGF drugs before primary PPV; 2.Proliferative vitreoretinopathy caused by factors other than PDR; 3.A history of other retinal diseases such as retinal vein occlusion and age - related macular degeneration; 4.Corneal opacity affects the internal observation of the eye; 5.Combine acute ocular inflammations, such as infectious keratitis, etc; 6.Retinal atrophy or posterior pole retinal atrophy; 7.A follow - up period of less than 6 months after primary PPV or silicone oil removal; 8.Incomplete medical records or imaging data.
