Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with stage I-III primary rectal cancer who underwent low anterior resection of the rectum at Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology from March 2023 to May 2025; 1. The anastomosis site is = 18 years old; 4. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification <= 3 grade
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Malignant tumors of the colon at the same time; 2.No TME surgery performed; 3.Emergency surgery; 4.non-R0 excision; 5.duration of pregnancy; 6.Concomitant inflammatory bowel disease or familial polyposis; 7.In patients receiving neoadjuvant therapy, the interval between surgery and the end of therapy was < 2 weeks for drug and < 8 weeks for radiotherapy
